Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run DevPaint and keep the experience delightful.

  • Account details like name, email, and authentication identifiers.
  • Code inputs you submit for generation; we do not store raw source code.
  • Artwork outputs, gallery metadata, and style preferences.
  • Payment status and subscription metadata (processed by Stripe and Polar).
  • Usage signals like feature interactions, device type, and log diagnostics.

How we use your data

We use your data to deliver the product, protect the platform, and keep improving the art.

  • Generate artwork and personalize results based on your code signals.
  • Maintain your account, subscriptions, and credit balances.
  • Prevent abuse, secure the platform, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Improve the model and gallery experience in aggregate.

When we share data

We do not sell personal data. We only share it when it is necessary to run the service.

  • Service providers like Clerk (auth) and Stripe/Polar (payments).
  • Infrastructure partners who host and secure the app.
  • Public gallery content, only if you choose to publish artwork.
  • Legal requests when required to comply with law.

Data retention

We keep data only as long as needed to operate DevPaint or as required by law.

  • Account data persists until you delete your account.
  • Artwork and gallery metadata remain until you remove them.
  • Billing records are retained for compliance and audits.

Your choices

You control what you share and can update your preferences at any time.

  • Download or delete your artwork from the dashboard.
  • Opt out of public gallery sharing.
  • Request account deletion or data export by contacting support.

Security

We apply administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your data.

  • Encrypted connections for data in transit.
  • Restricted internal access to production systems.
  • Continuous monitoring for suspicious activity.

International transfers

DevPaint is operated globally, so your data may be processed in other countries.

  • We rely on trusted partners to handle cross-border data securely.
  • You consent to these transfers by using the service.

Additional notes

DevPaint is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this privacy page from time to time. If the changes are material, we will provide notice in-product or via email.
